Good ol' days

When friends from your past years visit you, time flies! Three friends met up on the 17th floor at a downtown swank.
It was wonderful, that word seems a little too small to describe exactly how we felt. Somehow, we were taken back in time through a time machine. It felt like 8101 MB, three friends talking about everything under the sun. It was innocent, vicious, vindictive, naive..I was actually unwell and my friends made their way from the other end of town just to be with me. I felt precious and secretly felt lucky to have such group of friends. We spoke our hearts out, I had nothing to hide, nothing to be diplomatic about..our conversations touched every little dot in a line of life..glimpses..
Us1 - Hey! have I gained weight?
Us2 - well..yeah! you need to make sure to take those pounds away before the big day
Us3 - don't eat junk, you tend to like those too much..
Us2 - work out damn it, move your a$$ to the gym and shake off some lbs
Us1 - do you remember how skinny I was at college?

We laughed our hearts out, truly from inside our heart. It has been quite sometime since I enjoyed some company as simple as this. It was simple, that is exactly what it was. Each of us knew each other well enough to know that we are good people, doesn't matter what we say or do. Sometimes, I find that as we grow up(well, I consider myself still growing to be an adult), the relationships we forge are pretentious.
